Ethical wall for Lync / OCS R2

The MultiUx Ethical Wall is a tool, designed for Microsoft Lync / OCS R2, which allow to manage the “communication routes” among the users using the real-time collaboration services.
Acting as a firewall, the customer’s administrator is able to allow/deny the possibility to users to communicate using Lync / OCS R2 services, managing the direction of the communications, even with federated users or PIC users.
The key features are (ref. ver 2.0):

  • Rules can be defined and applied on the following types of end-points:
    • Single user defined by the SIP URI
    • Domain of users defined by the SIP URI’s domain name
    • Single Active Directory user
    • Active Directory group
    • Active Directory Organization Unit
    • Active Directory Domain
    • Single federated user
    • Federated domain
    • Single PIC user
  • The rules are based on:
    • The possibility to ALLOW or DENY any route/service among two end-points
    • The possibility to specify the direction of the route among two end-points
    • From end-point A to end-point B
    • From end-point B to end-point A
    • Bi-directional
